Windhoek Hospitality & Culinary College in partnership with the internationally renowned Swiss Business Management and Hotel School (B.H.M.S) are looking to recruit qualified and vibrant individuals with a passion for teaching and education. We have openings for the following positions;
- English Lecturer
- Mathematics Lecturer
- Marketing Lecturer
- Communications Lecturer
General Responsibilities:
- To teach at a diploma level in areas allocated by the Head of WHCC.
- To contribute to the development, planning and implementation of a high-quality curriculum
- To assist in the development of learning materials, preparing schemes of work and maintaining records to monitor students’ records, achievements and attendance.
- To participate in departmental and faculty seminars aimed at building inter-disciplinary collaboration within the department.
- To participate in the development, administration and marking of exams and other assessments.
- To participate in the administration of the department’s programme of study and other activities as requested.
- Any other duties as may be assigned by management.
Teacher Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in teaching or relevant field.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a teaching instructor and/or lecturer.
- In-depth knowledge of teaching methods and legal educational procedures.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Well-organized with excellent leadership abilities.
- Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills.
